The Best Vietnamese Sandwich in New York

September 2nd 2010

Josh Ozersky, James Beard Award-Winning food writer, posted a video recently of a Vietnamese Banh Mi shop located in a Vietnamese Record Store.

Readers might remember seeing this very place, Sau Voi Corp (located on the corner of Walker and Lafayette Street in Chinatown) in our interview with Robert Geller.

As a California raised Vietnamese, one who has tried nearly every incarnation of Banh Mi in New York, I will say this is by far my favorite place to go for them. I’m glad to see someone else out there agrees with me!

P.S. We just had these for lunch today.

We’re Over Summer

August 17th 2010

Our Fall items are trickling in, and it’s reminding me how over summer I am.

Items will be hitting THE STORE soon!
